Physiotherapist (Physical Therapist)
Urooj is a Physiotherapist at Mind Institute who supports movement, physical function and independence. Her current work includes clinic-based physiotherapy and support within Mind Center’s early intervention, daily living skills and vocational programs.
Her clinical background includes neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with experience supporting people with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, stroke, traumatic brain injury and other conditions affecting movement. She assesses physical abilities and develops individual treatment plans, including functional movement training, mobility support and home exercise programs.
Alongside clinical practice, Urooj has worked as a lecturer and clinical instructor in Pakistan, teaching future physiotherapists and supervising practical learning. She also held a Physical Therapy Department Supervisor role at Vertex Institute of Science and Technology.
Urooj holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and a master’s degree in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy from Riphah College of Rehabilitation Sciences. Her further training includes clinical dry needling and basic life support.
She works with individuals and families to set practical rehabilitation goals and support progress between sessions, with a focus on the physical skills needed for everyday participation.
