Soha Younnes
Speech and Language Therapist
Soha is a Speech and Language Therapist at Mind Institute who supports children with speech, language and communication difficulties. Her experience across rehabilitation services, community settings and inclusive education includes assessing children’s needs and developing individual therapy plans.
Her work includes helping children understand and use language, develop clearer speech, and communicate more effectively in everyday situations. She also has experience supporting autistic children and children with developmental disabilities, including using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)—tools and strategies that support communication when speech alone is not enough.
Soha works closely with families, offering practical guidance to help children practise communication skills at home. Her approach brings together individual assessment, therapy goals and collaboration with other professionals involved in a child’s care.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Therapy from Phoenicia University. Her continuing education includes training in the Lidcombe Program for childhood stuttering, speech sound intervention, early intervention and aural rehabilitation.
