
Mohamad Al Mokadem
Head of Occupational Therapy
Mohamad is Head of Occupational Therapy at Mind Institute, leading the occupational therapy team alongside his clinical work with children and adults. He supports independence and participation in everyday activities. He brings experience in direct clinical care, occupational therapy department leadership and the training of rehabilitation professionals.
His work with children includes assessment and individual therapy planning for autistic children and children with ADHD, cerebral palsy and developmental delays. He supports sensory and motor needs, daily living skills and participation in learning, with practical guidance for parents and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals at home.
Mohamad’s adult rehabilitation experience includes supporting people with neurological conditions, adapting daily activities, providing assistive equipment and making custom hand splints. He also has experience adapting classrooms and other environments to improve accessibility and participation.
Before joining Mind Institute, Mohamad served as Head of Occupational Therapy at the Lebanese Welfare Association for the Handicapped. His work with Humanity & Inclusion across Lebanon, Syria and Afghanistan included coaching rehabilitation staff, training in assistive technology and accessibility, and supporting the quality of multidisciplinary rehabilitation services.
He holds an honours bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a master’s degree in Healthcare Management—Quality and Technology, both from the Lebanese University. His combination of clinical practice, staff development and rehabilitation leadership informs his collaborative approach to care.
