Mariam Abdallah
ABA Therapist, QASP-S
Mariam is an ABA Therapist at Mind Institute and a credentialed Qualified Autism Services Practitioner Supervisor (QASP-S). Her current work includes individual ABA sessions and support within Mind Center’s early intervention and daily living skills programs.
She delivers individualised interventions to help children acquire practical skills and address behaviours that affect learning and everyday participation. Her work includes observing behaviour, implementing treatment plans, collecting progress data and reviewing goals with the clinical team, with guidance from the BCBA.
Mariam places particular emphasis on involving families and coordinating with other therapists who work with the same child. This helps keep support consistent across sessions and connects therapy goals with the child’s everyday needs.
Before her ABA work, Mariam spent several years teaching primary-age children in Lebanon, including children with disabilities and learning difficulties. She adapted lessons and classroom activities to different learning needs and used positive behaviour support. She later worked as an ABA Therapist at an autism centre in Jordan.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in English–Arabic Translation from Applied Science University in Jordan. Her background in education and language complements her work with children and families.
