Ammar provides psychological assessment and therapy for young people and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related difficulties, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, and stress.
His work focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He helps clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and responses connect, and develop practical ways to manage difficulties. Treatment is tailored to each person’s needs, circumstances, and cultural background.
Ammar’s experience includes work within the UK’s National Health Service, specialist healthcare services, and school settings. He has supported people managing the emotional impact of long-term physical health conditions and worked with students experiencing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
Alongside individual therapy, his experience includes group treatment, clinical supervision, staff training, and university teaching.
