Frequently asked questions

Mind Institute, Ain Khaled, Doha, offers ADHD assessments for children, teens and adults using standardized tools such as the Conners 4, CAARS, TOVA and IVA-2, carried out by DHP-licensed psychologists.

The Conners 4 is a widely used set of rating scales completed by parents, teachers and the child to assess ADHD symptoms and related difficulties.

Mind Institute offers ADHD assessments across the lifespan, from early childhood through adolescence and adulthood. The assessment tools and procedures are selected to suit the individual’s age and developmental level.

The ADHD assessment draws on standardized rating scales completed by parents, teachers and the individual, attention testing, clinical interview and observation, and results in a detailed report with recommendations. A medical diagnosis and any medication decision rest with a physician, and we refer families to a pediatrician or psychiatrist when this is appropriate.

Assessments can take place at our center in Ain Khaled, at your home, or at your child’s school.
