Farhiya Abdi graduated from City, the University of London with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Speech and Language Therapy. Also, she has licensed by the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) in the United Kingdom. Moreover, she has a registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
Farhiya Abdi is supporting clients with communication difficulties. She values the importance of working alongside families, schools, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach is taken.
Farhiya enjoys working with adolescents and children. She has experience working in nurseries/ pre-schools, primary and secondary schools in England. Also, she can provide individual and/or group therapy in all settings.
Farhiya Abdi has supported children with social communication difficulties, speech and language delays, and disorders. Besides her long experience working within a multi-disciplinary environment and a multi-ethnic community.
Her specific interest in working with young people and children who are on the Autistic Spectrum, particularly, high functioning individuals who require adapted methods to learning. In order to achieve their full learning potential. Farhiya specializes in using both.
