Special EducatorAamina is a licensed special educator with 19 years of experience in the field. She is a dedicated and caring professional with an abundance of knowledge in the special educational needs sector which she considers an asset in her teaching. She has extensive experience in the evaluation and intervention of children with a variety of complex needs such as ADHD, ASD, Cerebral Palsy, hearing impairment, and intellectual delays. Aamina is also proficient in the use of sign language and PECS to further support her students and cater to all abilities.
Aamina holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education, with a specialization in the area of Hearing Impairment, from the Punjab University of Lahore, Pakistan. Previously she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, English Literature and Persian from the renowned Punjab University of Lahore, Pakistan. Aamina is a firm believer in continuous development and holds various certificates for education and practicing competence from different prestigious institutes.
Aamina has been an active participant in the Special Olympics. She also recognizes the benefit of supporting the child’s wider community and has lead teachers training workshops along with parent training workshops and considers this an area she excels at.
