Social Groups

Mind Institute provides social skills programs for children and adolescents struggling with initiating friendships, listening and attention and social interaction. Facilitated by our therapy team, our sessions assist children in learning skills needed to develop and maintain relationships with peers. Social Groups create opportunities for children and adolescents to develop their social interaction skills in a supportive and more informal environment by engaging in fun and age-appropriate activities. Our groups meet once per week for a session focusing on turn-taking, sharing, waiting, listening, making friends, social interaction, communicating and more.
