Pediatric Physiotherapy

Pediatric Physiotherapy

Pediatric physical therapy promotes independence, increases participation, promotes motor development and function, develops strength and endurance, strengthens learning opportunities, and eases daily caregiving challenges.

Our pediatric physical therapists at Mind Institute work with children from infancy through adolescence. We help each child reach their best potential to function independently and promote active participation in home, school, and community environments. Physical therapists at Mind Institute use evidence-based practice, which integrates research and clinical reasoning, to evaluate and treat children. Our PT’s are experts in child development, particularly in relation to children’s movement, posture control, balance, and coordination. We identify, diagnose and develop a treatment plan to overcome any difficulties.
